Pierce Shipp (aka Shippiddge) is a Filmmaker/Animator/Voice Actor/Real Living Person from Southern California, USA.
In the mid-2000's, he was best known for creating sprite-based webcomics inspired by video games and producing amateur camcorder movies with his friends.
His YouTube Channel was launched in 2006, his work primarily consisting of machinima (movies created within video game engines).
He signed with Machinima.com in 2008, producing videos for their "Director" program.
His machinima series "Smashtasm", created using Super Smash Bros, gained him a cult following online.
In 2009, his short film, "Flying", won the "Machinima Audience Award" at the Ivy Film Festival.
In 2013, he created the first episode of what became the viral animated series "Starter Squad".
In 2015, he graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Culture and Media.
In 2019, he completed the Character Animation program at Animation Mentor - The Online Animation School.
By 2022, his YouTube channel had ammassed over one million subscribers.
Shippiddge currently resides in Las Vegas, where he is attempting to complete the final episode of "Starter Squad".
